Vineyard & Winemaking Notes

Risata Pinot Grigio is made with 100% Estate Grown Grapes, from premier vineyards in the Friuli region of Italy. The climate is mild with cool air currents from the north mixed beneficially with the warm air from the Adriatic Coast in the south. The mild temperatures allow the grapes to ripen evenly and the cool air helps maintain their acidity level. The soil is a mixture of clay, sandstone and gravel. Grapes are gently pressed and placed in temperature controlled tanks where fermentation takes place. After fermentation is complete the wine cold stabilized, filtered and bottled, resulting in a refreshing, crisp and easy drinking wine.
