Vineyard & Winemaking Notes

Burgundy is a fairly small wine region in the central eastern part of France where they make some of the most expensive and sought-after wines in the world. The Maconnais has a mild and sunny climate. The hills of the Maconnais are composed of a chalky limestone which produces some of the best Chardonnay in the world. The grapes are picked at the peak of ripeness, and then placed in a pneumatic press before cold fermentation. The wine is aged in stainless steel for approximately 8 months.
