This Chianti has aromas of dark fruit and licorice, with rounded tannins and flavors of black cherry and plum.

Pairs well with pasta, chicken, prosciutto, salad, cheese, pizza, veal or tuna.

Vineyard & Winemaking Notes

The grapes are hand harvest from select vineyards within the Chianti DOCG. Chianti is a region of rolling hills with a warm days and cool nights ideally suited for growing grapes. The soils are predominately marl and chalk. After harvest, maceration takes place on the skins for 17 days at a controlled temperature of between 78° – 80° F in stainless steel tanks.
