This red Lambrusco is refreshingly light and frizzante (fizzy) with an exploding mouthful of fresh strawberries and cherries.

Vineyard & Winemaking Notes

Grapes are harvested in early September from vines averaging 8-10 years in age. Traditional winemaking takes place immediately after harvest; grapes are de-stemmed and pressed with the must flowing into stainless steel tanks where the wine macerates on the skins. Once initial fermentation is complete, the wine is filtered and a second lot of must is added; with more sugar available fermentation resumes allowing the wine to become “frizzante”, or lightly sparkling.
