Wine Growing Conditions
The wine shares its name with the Moscato grapes that are sourced from the cool, hilly Asti region within the province of Piedmont in northwestern Italy, one of the most important DOCG wine growing regions in Italy.
The grapes are crushed, chilled to almost freezing in stainless steel vats, fermented and bottled to capture the resulting carbon dioxide. The result is a low alcohol (5.5% maximum by law) slightly effervescent wine, or what the Italians call vino frizzante.
Luccio Rose
From Piedmont comes Luccio Rose made from Malvasia, one of the oldest grapes varieties on the planet. Made famous in the late 1600’s, wines made from the Malvasia grape became the drink of choice for pleasure seekers everywhere focused on fun and delight!

Vinification Details
After harvesting by hand the grapes are crushed and pressed, the must is then is kept in cold storage and fermented in autoclaves with selected yeasts.
