Gaucho Club
Gaucho Club Malbec is a true representation of the classic Gaucho’s of the old world: bold, strong character and adventurous. In the mid 1800’s, the Gauchos of Argentina were “cowboys” that roamed the foothills of the Andes Mountains herding livestock and living off the land. The Gaucho is the equivalent to the “North American Cowboy” generally reputed to be strong, honest, silent but proud types.

Wine Growing Conditions
Mendoza, Argentina is a narrow strip lining the foothills of the Andes from Cafayate Valley north to Patagonia south. The grapes are hand selected from old, single trellised, low-yielding vineyards grown in glacial deposit soil. After harvest, the grapes are cool macerated in order to retain fruit characters and color. 50% of the wine is cool fermented while the remainder stays war and left on skins for two weeks. Gaucho Club Malbec is oak aged for six months prior to bottling.
Characteristics
Dense flavors of dark plum and chocolate layered with oak. An elegant, velvety, long finish rounds off this wine.
Food Pairings
This wine pairs with grilled meats, medium to strong cheeses, or simply on its own.
